In many respects, Timers are some of the more overlooked of Windows 10 apps. Even though they may not be the most glamours titles in the Windows Store, there are plenty of fantastic options available. They include countdown timers, stopwatches and alarm features, all wrapped up in an easy to use package. We have sifted through the Windows Store and these are the best timer apps available for Windows 10.

Timer + Pro is a very simple countdown timer app for Windows 10 Mobile. The interface lends itself to one-handed operation: you set the timer by sliding the blue dot around the timer's face. A quick tap at the center of the circle will start and stop the timer.

Additional features include a vibration feature that pulses as the time works its way down and a sound effect feature that functions in the same way. Timer + Pro does not support multiple timers and maxes out at 60 minutes.

Timer + Pro does have Cortana support — just tell Cortana, 'Timer thirty minutes' and the app launches at that time interval. There is a menu button in the upper right corner of the display that allows you to set the timer alarm and dim the timer's brightness.

You can also tap the minute or second buttons in the lower right corner of the screen to set the timer. The World clock feature allows you to enter a global location and monitor the local time.

Perfect Timekit does support multiple timers and alarms. Once you have the first timer or alarm set, just tap the + button at the bottom of the display to create the next timer or alarm. Multiple alarms are automatically displayed once you add that second alarm. To monitor multiple timers, just tap the Show All button at the bottom of the display. My only nit with the Windows 10 Mobile app is that some of the menus can be hard to read. It's not a deal breaker, but the app could use a little more contracts between the text and backdrop.
